| Job Description | Digital Design Engineer
You will bring your Digital Design Engineering experience to Vista’s product development team. Your work will be characterized by helping to design and develop Vista’s new and existing hardware product lines.
Job Functions
•Design, test and debug digital systems that typically involve an FPGA or other programmable logic device using common lab equipment
•Design and maintain embedded firmware including Verilog HDL code and C/C++
•Use FPGA design, simulation, timing analysis and debug tools such as Altera Quartus II/SignalTap and ModelSim
•Assist with the hardware and firmware system architecture and specifications of next-generation products
•Review and understand device datasheets and other technical data of new technologies and present ideas for incorporating into next-generation products
Skills, Education, and Experience Required
•Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related filed
•Minimum of 5 years of development experience with FPGA, analog/digital hardware design and hardware-software co-design
•Ability to work in fast paced development environment coordinating with hardware and software engineering teams
•Ability to use MS Office and other software to effectively present information to team members and management
•Strongest consideration to those with video or image processing experience
•Ability to complete independent tasks as part of a larger set of team milestones
•Strong oral and written communication skills
•Local candidates preferred
