| Job Description | GrafTech International Holdings Inc. is a world leader in the manufacture of carbon and graphite products. We are currently accepting applications for immediate openings at our Columbia, Tennessee manufacturing facility for Electrical Multi-Craft employees.
Summary of responsibilities:
•Troubleshooting electrical and instrument systems with working knowledge of mechanical systems.
•Planning and installing new electrical and instrumentation equipment, repairing existing electrical and instrumentation equipment, and supporting mechanical equipment repairs.
•Provide service and repair of an electrical nature such as wiring, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical component replacement for the facility as needed.
•Repairing, modifying, troubleshooting, inspecting of machines and electrical equipment to keep them in operating condition (predictive and preventive maintenance).
•Assist the mechanical craft as needed.
•Assist production operators as needed.
•Housekeeping duties as needed.
•Other duties deemed necessary by management in the performance of the job.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
•Four years at A-Level in similar industry or training.
•Ability to demonstrate proficiency in craft skills.
•Blueprint reading within the electrical, mechanical and instrument crafts.
•Basic Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC knowledge and troubleshooting.
•Familiarity with variable speed drives.
•Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting.
•Understand overall process flow and its variability.
•Ability to read P&ID drawings.
•Willingness to advance knowledge and skills as needed.
•Experience operating rolling stock equipment (forklifts, manlifts, ect).
