Job Summary:
We are seeking an HR Generalist to help in fostering a positive and highly effective working environment based on mutual respect and a shared goal of being the number one supplier to our customers. This position will focus primarily on team member relations and staffing, working in close partnership with our internal customers and external service providers. The HR Generalist will engage the entire organization and have a direct role in facilitating our strategic plans.

Responsibilities will include:
•Responsible for multiple human resource activities to focus on team member relations and staffing, and may include wellness, compensation and training/development
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members across the company, working to foster a highly desirable workplace with the involvement of all team members to achieve our shared goals
•Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, initiates changes as necessary to ensure compliance with law, corporate policies and business objectives
•Provide assistance and counsel to members on HR policies and personal issues, and keep team members informed of all changes in HR policies
•Source and interview job applicants, evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications; Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources
•Assist with preparing and maintaining company compensation structure, job documentation, and job evaluation systems. Complete salary survey questionnaires
•Recommend, develop and schedule training and development opportunities

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication or a related field
•PHR certification preferred
•3-8+ years of experience handling a broad range of responsibilities preferably in a manufacturing environment, focused on team member relations and recruiting/staffing
•Requires the ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential business and team member information
•Positive attitude and demonstrated effectiveness in accomplishing goals
•Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills
•Able to work flexible hours occasionally to support entire production team
