| Job Description | PM Company LLC, a leading converter & supplier of business machine rolls and banking & financial products has a unique opportunity to join our manufacturing team. We are a privately held corporation with a history of over 100 years; headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This position will diagnose, test, analyze, repair, maintain and install electrical, electro-mechanical and pneumatic machinery.
Requirements:
•Functional Familiarity with OSHA standards
•Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) knowledge
•Expertise in manufacturing (converting, and/or laminating a plus)
•Mechanical ability, technical aptitude, familiarity with computer controlled equipment
•Demonstrated ability in the application of preventative and predictive machine maintenance
•The ability to read industrial equipment schematics
•Minimum of high school graduation/equivalent, associate/technical degree preferred
•Five years of industrial electrical experience
•Some machine shop experience a plus (welding, lathe, mill)
•Ability to work with minimal supervision, good time management skills
Environment:
This position works on the factory floor in the presence of forklifts and machinery.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires physical demands to perform the essential functions of the job.
•Standing throughout the day
•Continuous walking throughout the plant to review quality and productivity requiring twisting, bending, stooping, lifting, and core rotation
•Requires repetitive lifting, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
•Uses pallet jacks moving full pallet loads of paper requiring pushing/pulling
•Requires mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance, product changeovers/set ups and troubleshooting using common hand tools
•Responsibilities:
•Responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe working environment
•Diagnose machine malfunctions; determine need for repair
•Electrical and hydraulic mechanical repairs
•Preventative maintenance
•Participate in the process to meet productivity standards, reduce operation costs and eliminate waste |
