As an AXIS Controls Engineer, you will help develop proprietary software, design highly efficient systems, and be instrumental in developing new and patent-pending product lines. We encourage your ongoing training, and reimburse for your professional and technical development.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Controls System design including wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, control panel layouts, BOMs, test plans and manuals
•Prepare component specifications and source materials and equipment for purchase
•Programming PLC, HMI and Motion Controls
•Pricing electrical packages for sales quotations
•Develop and document UL Industrial standards for drawings
•Investigate and implement the latest technologies for electrical and controls systems
•Provide technical support for Sales, Manufacturing, and Service departments
•Support Installation and Commissioning
QUALIFICATIONS :
•BS Electrical Engineering
•7+ years of design experience
•Solid background in industrial controls
•Proficient with Allen Bradley products
•Proficient with Servo Drive Systems
•Proficient in PLC & HMI programming and integration
•Familiar with UL/CSA/CE standards
•Good organizational and communication skills
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
•Food or pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
•AutoCad, Solidworks Electrical or other equivalent 2D package
•Robotic programming experience |
