AMERICAN TRIM, a multi-state manufacturer servicing the automotive and appliance industry is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following opportunity in their Cullman, Alabama operation:
MANUFACTURING / PROCESS ENGINEER
Primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise to the enhancement of manufacturing capabilities and processes to produce quality products in a timely and cost effective manner. This individual will develop plans and lead efforts to successfully complete projects by assuring all required information from customers, engineering, tooling, quality and production are considered in the planning and implementation stages. They will also be involved with mechanical design and redesign, including equipment and machinery.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; minimum of seven years related experience in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal processing, a proven track record of solving complex / technical issues, and be knowledgeable in capability studies, tolerances, process engineering and product engineering.
