Mellanox is looking for a Opto Electronics Engineer with expertise in the development of optical modulators to join our dynamic R&D team working on silicon photonic integration. - Development of high speed based Si based modulator devices for datacom applications - Leading technology and product development activities - Coordination of efforts across a multi-disciplinary group and managing work at sub-contractors or suppliers - Development of relevant RF and DC test and analysis tools

- Experience designing and developing of Si or III/V active devices used for high speed modulation of light - Design and simulation of opto-electronic structures - In depth understanding of solid state physics, S/C material properties and device physics - Test, characterization and analysis of such devices - Problem solving and critical thinking - Familiar with reliability issues of active optoelectronic devices - Experience with RF/thermal device design and characterization - Design of experiments and statistical data analysis - Experience of product development and transfer to manufacturing - Demonstrated project management experience
