| Job Description | Cell Signaling Technology, Inc. (CST) is a worldwide leader in the development and commercialization of phospho-specific antibodies and assays for pathway analysis, as well as novel discovery technologies such as PhosphoScan®. We are committed to developing innovative new research tools to help define the mechanisms underlying cell function and disease, thereby broadly accelerating progress in biomedical research and medicine. CST is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to manage a group of products in a focused area of signal transduction. These products include antibodies and a variety of assay kits.
Responsibilities include producing and characterizing new product lots, quality control, assisting customers with product related questions, and working closely with Development, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Packaging, Shipping and other departments within the organization to ensure the highest quality product possible. This position consists of approximately 40% bench work, 30% customer assistance, and 30% coordination of product related activities. A BS, MS, or PhD in cell biology or related discipline with 5+ years of laboratory experience (thesis work included) required. Requirements: background in signal transduction and experience working with antibodies including western blotting, ELISA and immunoprecipitation. Experience with mammalian cell culture, transfections and protein work also required. Successful candidates will possess a demonstrated excellence in science and the ability to work in teams and meet deadlines.
