- Responsible for developing and implementing plans to improve product quality and integrity using Six Sigma and lean concepts and tools.
-Drives Six Sigma and lean effort across the organization to meet annual productivity targets while fostering a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization.
-Organizes and directs process improvement teams using lean tools (Fishbone, 5Y, process mapping, Value stream mapping etc)
-Leads and coaches teams working on Lean/Six Sigma projects and drives and tracks those projects to successful completion.
-Facilitates multi-functional teams in problem solving, process improvement and control
-Creates performance metrics to accurately reflect process status
-Uses statistical process and Six Sigma toolbox.
-Participates on corporate team, shares best practices with Continental
-Serves as self-motivated process change agent working with management and employees to execute Lean/Six Sigma strategy. Manages and evaluates process by focusing on customer satisfaction and needs.
Experience:
5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
Knowledge of SPC, problem-sovling, FMEA, processes and customer issues.
Ability to learn and master Lean and Six Sigma concepts and tools
Demonstrated record of strong project leadership
Demonstrated record of aggressively meeting commitments.
Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and communication skills.
