AT&T Senior Product Development Platform Manager - provides mobility marketing and product management expertise for products and platforms created through AT&T third party strategic partnerships. Working with AT&T partners as well as cross functionally within AT&T, the Senior Product Manager is responsible for ensuring successful creation, launch and sale of mobility product/solutions and development platforms, as well the successful creation and enhancement of end to end processes (product offer/creation through customer billing.) AT&T Senior Product Development Platform Manager is an industry leader in mobility marketing, mobility product management and is considered to be a subject matter expert in the product marketing management of Enterprise Mobility Applications and their Development Platforms.
Roles and responsibilities of the Senior Product Development Platform Manager includes but not limited to the following:
Work with multiple AT&T External Partners to create a robust Development Platform solution (PaaS). Involves identification, pricing, sales enablement, sales engagement, marketing strategy, communication strategy, contract negotiations, invoicing, funnel management and process creation and improvement.
Create and enhance end to end processes starting with the creation of a Development Platform offer, execution of offer, and life cycle maintenance of offer.
Work with internal organizations/offers to incorporate existing tools or new AT&T Intellectual Property into the platform (new technologies, APIs, SDKs, etc)
Work with the AT&T Innovation Centers to test/feature developer offers prior to market entry.
Create and deliver executive presentations funnel activity, sales results, partner performance, cycle time, and end to end process improvement.
Manage the cross sales segment and cross partner sales funnels and remove sales barriers and provide result reports.
Identify and manage full product lifecycle needs
Creation and LCM of Customer and Sales collateral that support the product
Work across the organization with groups including Sales, MACs, CTO, Pricing, Legal, Ordering, Care and Billing, and other mobility product management groups supporting a multitude of horizontals and vertical line of business solutions
Position self as Subject matter expert to both internal and external clients
Direct the development of company market requirements for specific development Platform products
Identification of offer and process gaps and engagement of appropriate partner to address
Life cycle management of products/services in order to optimize market plan performance, revenue growth and profitability objectives
Direct the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace
Establish pricing, contracting, and business model strategies
Responsible for product profitability and horizontal and vertical product line support
Support sales operation activities by providing training and current product information to sales staff
Support internal and external events and spokesman ship for the offer sets
5 or more years relevant Mobility Product Marketing Management experience
3 or more years Project Management experience
Understanding of Development Platform solutions (PaaS)
Experience incorporating existing and new tools into the platform (new technologies, APIs, SDKs, etc)
Fundamental understanding of how to design products for maximum sales impact, aligned with sales compensation, and the ability to produce collateral for a consultative selling approach
Successful creation of mobility end to end processes, process enhancements and results
Understanding of development processes and tools to deliver mobile apps.
Functional and Technical skills with specific focus on enterprise mobility applications
Proven technical aptitude and experience managing and marketing technical products; PaaS and APIs, SDKs, etc.
Superior written and oral communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competitive & market assessment experience
Experience taking complex strategies/concepts and communicate them simply and visually
Strong leadership, ability to take charge, adaptive, self starter and professional
Proven ability to direct and lead cross functional teams, in a large complex environment
Ability to manage ambiguity and work autonomously on multiple simultaneous projects
Superior written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal and negotiation skills
Thorough understanding and experience in driving a highly complex, creative business
Knowledge of mobility product portfolio
Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing
Bachelor's/Masters degree in MS, CS, MIS, EE, etc.
