Development of manufacturing processes and systems to support micro channel coil production projects across the Global Integrated Supply Chain. Define the one best way of manufacture.

Develop innovations in coil manufacturing that significantly improve performance, cost and quality of heat exchangers of all designs

Support product transitions and redesigns to standardize and improve heat exchangers..

Work with design engineering, manufacturing operations, and other support group to develop and continuously improve heat exchangers design and process.
Development, evaluation and improvement of manufacturing methods

Development of DFM, DFA, PFMEA, in collaboration with cross-functional team

Conduct analysis and planning for work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow

Design layout of equipment and work space for maximum efficiency

Develop specification of new equipment for coil manufacturing

Develop estimations of production times, staffing requirements, and engineering and other requirements

Conduct qualifications of production equipment and tooling using statistical methods
Percentage of Travel will be up to 25% both domestic and international


Education - Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a preference for mechanical, industrial or metallurgical.

Certification – Six Sigma Black Belt preferred, Green Belt required.

Experience - Five (5) or more years experience in manufacturing environment is required; experience with aluminum processing, aluminum brazing, micro channel manufacturing is preferred; experience in delivering business results using Lean Six Sigma tools is required; experience in an environment focused on continuous improvement and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction is required; experience with managing capital and expense budgets is strongly preferred.
