Tasks
Individual to provide design, application and product support with regard to Hole Finishing (PCD/CBN tipped Reamers, Spot Face, Countersink, Counterbore and End Mill tools) to customers, distributors, sales personnel, designers, and engineers via email, online chat, phone, or fax. Customer requests that require support will be identified and resolved or a plan for resolution will be provided and assigned to the appropriate department or team. Candidate to grow and understand customer’s business, technology, and product requirements and utilize company tooling solutions, products and services to meet customer needs. Individual will also be responsible for interfacing with Designers, Sales, Manufacturing, and customers on improvement recommendations on a variety of Holemaking product lines.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, completed machinist / tool & die apprentice program or other equivalent degree preferred. Metal cutting / machining experience and / or educational program will also be considered. Unigraphics / NX software experience a plus. Finish Holemaking experience required. Possess strong verbal and technical communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
