The selected candidate will be responsible for providing solutions to a wide range of technical problems (Optics/RF Electronics/Mechanics) for laser product development. The successful candidate is expected to work in a fast paced environment and open to solve complex engineering problems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. ? Support construction and testing of advanced ultrafast laser concepts ? Assemble and test prototypes typically comprised of a combination of optics, mechanical and electronic components ? Provide general hands-on experience prototyping and manufacturing support ? Work with limited guidance on complex engineering activities including optical/electrical/mechanical design ? Develop, monitor and maintain product development schedules ? Create and support design specifications and documentation requirements
Requirements
Education and/or Experience ? Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or other related engineering disciplines ? 3+ years of demonstrated experience in development and implementation of laser/mechanics/electronics designs ? US resident is a plus Language Skills ? Good communication skills o Able to write effectively and develop presentations for training or developing and incorporating solutions in line with changing technologies |
