Job Description This individual will help to maximize the sales and market share for the Transplant portfolio product Zortress. The marketer will be responsible for the development of the launch of a new indication for this A Brand and the product’s overall business strategy. This role will hold significant responsibilities across marketing categories, including professional promotion, and will require cross-functional coordination with extended brand team members and strong partnership with Sales.

Key direct responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Extract and articulate key findings from clinical literature and use it to drive strategies/tactics
Managing KOL development, speaker training, advisory boards
• Interfacing and providing brand strategy direction to sales force members
• Work synergistically with Global/IPT colleagues to insure brand strategic focus.
Leading brand planning process and coordination of final presentations
• Management of budget/resources for the brand

The applicant must possess a high level of analytical and conceptual ability in order to provide strategic focus to the brand, and demonstrate a proven track record of strong execution and results. Additional requirements include the ability to lead and manage teams across functional areas. Minimum 20% travel is required.

• Key 2012 Tactics / Brand Campaign
• Preparation /Planning for Liver Tx Indication
• Building Brand Advocacy for Zortress Among Customers (Sales Force & Transplant Decision Makers)
• Achievement of TRx / Sales Targets

Key Performance Indicators:
• Achievement of TRx / Sales Targets
• Successful Execution of Brand Tactics that Drive Brand Strategies
• Identification of brand opportunities – capitalizing on new data and/or market dynamics to create competitive advantage
• Customer/account satisfaction
Minimum requirements • Bachelors degree required, Biological sciences education is preferred (MBA a plus).

• This person should have a strong marketing background (3-5 years) and proven success in the areas of strategic and tactical planning. Transplant experience a plus, Specialty therapeutic experience highly preferred. Sales and sales leadership experience are also highly preferred. Solid strategic thinking skills and analytical skills are essential as well as strong senior management communication skills and sales force communication. The ability to motivate team members and strong negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to bridge marketing and science.
