Job Summary:
This position is responsible for developing strategic plans, promoting products within given lines by recommending, implementing and controlling short and long term marketing plans which are designed for healthy growth and profitability for designated product line markets and manages through approved plans.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for assigned marketing activities of product or business lines to maximize sales and gross profit.
Assist in multiple areas of product management including promotions, market research, direct marketing, new product development, product launches and strategic initiatives.
Aid in development and execution of key sales opportunities in specified interco markets.
Assist interco locations with product forecasts, pricing, samples and literature.
Communicate and work well with all levels and functions including Manufacturing,
Engineering, Accounting, Customer Service and Sales Departments.
Responsible for the production of proposals, graphics, brochures and special projects
Recommends and executes specific marketing objectives and forecasts to achieve or exceed sales volume and profit margin requirements.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS); three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
Ability to gather, organize and analyze data
Effectively communicate ideas through strong written and verbal communication
Attention to detail and attention to meeting or exceeding deadlines
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Ability to speak effectively before groups or customers or employees of the organization
