ASSOCIATE PROJECT MANAGER - ENGINEERING
Under broad direction, the Associate Project Manager - Engineering is responsible for all phases of planning and execution on medium-sized projects or may be responsible for a segment of a larger project. The job role has budgetary accountabilities.
RESPONSIBLITIES
· Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls small engineering projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company
· Manages engineering project schedules, budgets, and goals
· Supervises personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders
· Responsible for day to day contact and communication with the client and focuses on providing client satisfaction
· Possesses knowledge of the pulp and paper, chemical, and/or other heavy industrial industries
· May also serve as a proposal manager for small or medium engineering projects
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering
· 10+ years project management experience on pulp and paper, chemical or other heavy industrial projects
· Experience managing multi-discipline engineering projects
· Experience managing project schedules, budgets and goals at project level
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
