Zurich in North America is looking for an Audit Manager to join its North American world class Group Audit team based in Schaumburg. The manager would be responsible for the delivery of high quality audits to senior management and the C-Suite. The Group Audit is responsible for performing audits over the whole of Zurich's operations in North America- including its property and casualty, life insurance and portions of its investment operations. The audits are financial, operational or strategic in nature. The Audit Manager plays a key role in shaping and focusing the audit on the identified risks as well as executing the audit and delivering the final report to our business partners and senior management. There are opportunities for this person to participate in and help coordinate and oversee audits being executed simultaneously across the globe and may interact with team members throughout Europe (including Switzerland, the UK and Germany) as well as Latin America (including Brazil, Chile and Argentina) and Asia Pacific (including Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan). The Audit Manager also plays a role in developing the audit plan and in assisting in developing various communications for use in reporting to local senior management, the Group Audit Executive Committee and to the Audit Committee.
Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required
10 or more years of audit or related experience preferred
Insurance industry experience preferred
Proven ability to interact with and influence senior management
Strong written and oral communication skills
CIA, CPA, CPCU, CISA, MBA or equivalent preferred
Big 4 experience preferred
