Job Description
Design and expedite the building of secondary machinery and equipment to our injection and blowing processes
Management of projects from conceptual design through production which includes but not limited to:
Fixture and automation equipment design
Fixture and automation equipment construction technical oversight
Accurate solid model assemblies of the equipment
Accurate solid models of the equipment components
Detailed component drawings
Creation of purchasing specifications and standards
Tracking and reporting build progress as required.
Maintaining ISO compliant project folders
Equipment designs must meet all safety and ergonomic requirements, cost targets, and operational reliability objectives..
Problem solving and correction with new and existing equipment.
Supporting continuous improvement projects at multiple manufacturing plants as assigned.
All other duties assigned by the Manager
Required Experience
A minimum two-year Engineering degree plus some hands on experience preferred.
Strong 3D CAD skills, Solid Works or UG-NX preferred
Basic knowledge of: Windows, Excel, Word, Internet, and ISO procedures. |
