The primary purpose of this job is to procure materials, supplies, equipment, and services which have been issued for purchase.




Responsibilities include:

Place purchase orders and credit card buy based on kanban or Min/max signals.

Ensure timely placement of orders and that all orders are received on-time.

Ensure business growth is supported by rapid access to materials.

Ensure planning and ordering facilitates uninterrupted supply.

Identify and negotiate PPV savings.

Negotiate long-tem agreements to achieve price reduction, optimized delivery and inventory initiatives.

Develop partnerships with suppliers to ensure a continuous improvement process is in place to optimize a) lead time reduction, b) technology and new product development, c) quality and d) effective communication.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree

2+ years related work experience

Proficient knowledge of PC software applications including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint

Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work collaboratively across the business and with customers
