Duties:
This position is required to operate milling (manual and CNC), and lathes (manual and CNC), and demonstrate competent ability to inspect manufactured parts to specifications as follows: reading and interpreting blueprints, linear measuring instrument, and precision measuring instruments. Precisely machine parts to blue print specifications using, vertical milling machine (set-up and operate), tool room lathe (set-up and operate), upright drilling machine (set-up and operate), with working knowledge and use of other necessary semi-precision and precision tools. High school diploma or equivalent, and basic machining knowledge, 4 years of experience required, NIMS credentials level I & II is a plus. Must be familiar with and able to program with one of the following or similar: Mazatrol, Tec Soft, Esprit, Mori Seiki MAPPS III and/or Mori Seiki MAPPS IV.
Must be self-motivated, project driven, work well in a team environment, and have machining tools (micrometer, indicator, and other standard machinist tools). Must be able to work safely, recognize and mitigate any unsafe condition, and select appropriate PPE based on job requirements.
Postion will start out as first shift and move to third shift.
Qualifications:
