| Job Description | Morgan Bronze is looking for a highly skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team. Must have a service oriented attitude and love to troubleshoot! If you love to work on CNC machines and enjoy variety in your day, this may be the job for you!
JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Perform set up and changeovers to production equipment for manufacturing operations in an effective manner
•Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures of production machines in a timely manner
•Complete work projects assigned in a timely manner
•Perform PM work (preventative maintenance) as scheduled
•Document work performed
•Work in a safe manner and ensure that equipment is in safe working condition
•Suggest and make modifications to production equipment to reduce overall cost
•Keeping inventory of essential spare parts and ordering of these when necessary
•Work with department Supervisor, engineers and other departments to improve shift effectiveness, increase productivity, reduce costs and maintain regulatory compliance
•Conduct own selves in a courteous and professional manner
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
•License: valid driver's license
•Teamwork – cooperative with all employees
•Initiative and self motivated
•Decision making – willing to use judgment within limits
•Have excellent communication and organization skills
•Be able to work from written or verbal instructions and standard operating procedures
•Personal computer skills
•Working knowledge of engineering drawings, electrical schematics, engineering flow diagrams, algebra, geometry and shop math
•Basic knowledge of motion and industrial controls.
•Basic knowledge of PLC and troubleshooting using PLC
•Trained in operation of forklifts, skyjacks, hand and power tools, basic machine shop skills.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical operations
•Experience with 120V, 240V and 480V
Experience:
Prefer a minimum 3 years of technical experience in repetitive manufacturing environment, preferably CNC machining. NOT Required.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. College or continuuing education courses preferred. |
