| Job Description | Requirements
Must be able to effectively set up and program CNC mills and lathes.
Must be able to create CNC programs from 3D models using CAM software, preferably
Mastercam, Delcam PowerMILL, or Esprit CAM.
Must be proficient with reading blue prints and GD&T.
Must possess good 3D modeling skills
Familiarity with measuring techniques using optical comparator, CMM, bench comparator, MICS, calipers and gauge pins, etc.
Mathematical comprehension, including algebra, geometry & trigonometry; computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong creative problem solving skills
High attention to detail
Organizational skills pertaining to programming processes and CNC code
Experience/Education
3+ years of programming experience
Working knowledge of the CNC manufacturing process
2D & 3D toolpath generation using CAM software, knowledge of CNC code (G & M codes), experience with Fanuc controllers, blueprint reading and GD&T
Experience in setup, operating and troubleshooting CNC equipment and programs
Preference for candidate with experience with Mastercam, Delcam Powermill and Delcam Powershape. Computer programming experience (C, C++, Visual Basic, etc.) is also a plus. |
