Job Description | Metaldyne is a leading global designer and supplier of metal-formed components and assemblies for powertrain applications including engine connecting rods, transmission valve bodies, forged and finished differential gears and pinions, differential assemblies, balance shaft modules, crankshaft dampers and crankshaft pulleys. We are seeking an CNC Technician for our 3rd shift. We are located in North Vernon, IN.
Electrical Control Engineer II:
This position will be responsible for the day to day troubleshooting of our HMI machining operation centers. Includes process controls and mechanical implementation, system integration and daily support of team objectives.
Must have proven experience programming Allen Bradley, Fanuc, Siemens, & Telemecanique PLC’s/PAC’s.
Strong skills in electrical, electronic and mechanical components, concepts and configurations.
Is able to troubleshoot complex CNC machining and robotics.
Has proven mechanical and programming skills associated with Motion Controls, Machine Vision, Sensors, & Robotics
Experience with CNC controlled machining equipment and possess the ability to program using ladder logic.
Experience with Manufacturing/ Machining equipment, tooling, fixtures, and gauging.
This hands on position works directly with production employees as well as managers to review procedures and opportunities for improved systems.
Is able to work in a team environment and projects excellent leadership and customer interface skills.
Excellent MS office skills. |
