Job Description

Accept, modify, or reject new submissions according to assigned authority for liability risks. Work on renewal accounts as assigned. Respond to broker requests in a timely and appropriate manner. Advocate producers needs with Company units, including Underwriting, Marketing, Information Technology, Finance and Claims. Support product management in developing products and services through feedback about underwriting and customer needs. Identify own training needs in consultation with Relationship Manager and Product Manager. Work with Relationship Managers to identify sources of business and errors and omissions within producer force. Advocate for product lines within producer force and participate in industry events and organizations to support Company goals. Work with Relationship Managers to identify, develop and implement training plans for producers. Provide feedback and market information to Relationship and Product Managers regarding new products and services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience and training, including CPCU, RPLU, ASLI, or AU.
Knowledge of underwriting with understanding of property, casualty, and/or professional lines of business.
Three to five years of commercial line underwriting or wholesale brokerage experience.
