? Able to work with supervision and eventually independently
? Good driving record
? Pass pre-employment D.O.T. Physical with a drug and alcohol screen
? Consistent with applicable law
? Able to lift up to 70 pounds
? Position requires stooping, bending, kneeling
? Able to use hand and power tools
? Basic computer skills and data entry into company related software
? Mechanical and or Electrical background preferred
? Follow strict safety and technical protocols
? Extensive overnight travel in company-furnished vehicle
? Ability to be away from home for a few weeks at a time, with company-paid travel expenses.
? Work experience with Cathodic protection, underground storage tanks or petroleum industry preferred, but not required, we will train the right candidate with good math skills, mechanical and or electrical background.
? Strong customer communication skills
DUTIES
? Conduct corrosion control surveys
? Trouble-shoot, diagnose and gather design survey data of Cathodic protection systems
? Prepare cathodic protection design and survey reports
? Continue to improve technical competence through experience and certification
? Train Cathodic protection technician trainees once proficient at trained skills
? Support customer in technical Cathodic protection needs
? Maintain technical competence with new/updated Cathodic protection technology along with Federal and State regulatory requirements.
? Achieve and/or maintain NACE Cathodic Protection level 1 certification or Steel Tank Institute (STI) CP tester certification.
QUALIFICATIONS
