Responsibilities:
Formulation of reagents for bio-assay (such as enzymes, enzyme substrates, co-factors,
antibodies, antigens and the like) to control and improve their stability
Document experimental work, analyze data and report results
Identify problems, communicate them to the team, and develop solutions
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
MS degree in chemistry or chemical engineering with 5 yrs. of industrial experience
Excellent knowledge of clinical assay chemistry and causes of reagent instability
Excellent command of fundamentals of organic and physical chemistry, and can translate
that into their laboratory work
Energetic, goal-oriented chemist who can work in a multidisciplinary environment using chemical and physical approaches to formulate assay reagents to improve their stability
Creative thinker with hands-on attitude and innovative approach to problem solving outside of their comfort-zone and learn on-the-fly if necessary
Hands-on attitude and innovative approach to problem solving
Experience with GMP documentation
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to plan, execute, interpret and document complex experiments |
