| Job Description | Langan has an opening for a Site/Civil Project Manager with local land development engineering experience in our Elmwood Park, NJ office. As the successful candidate, you will be developing new clients for the firm, maintaining relationships of existing clients, as well as designing land development engineering projects for a wide variety of exciting projects. You must possess an energetic, entrepreneurial and professional demeanor, as well as, strong technical and communication skills.
Requirements:
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, M.S. degree a plus;
Possess valid Professional Engineer licensure. New Jersey licensure preferred;
10 to 15 years of experience in related site/civil land development engineering;
Proven leadership and ability to function as a seller / doer;
Planning board and public testimony experience;
Knowledge of local City, County and State land use entitlement processes and regulations;
Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of land development engineering including the integration of geotechnical and environmental engineering;
Ability to design and oversee design including layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion;
Expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design including SWPPP preparation and water quality compliance;
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
Demonstrated ability to work with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies;
Excellent communication and management skills;
Experience in report and proposal writing including sub-contractor cost estimation; and,
Availability to work overtime.
