| Job Description | We are seeking an experienced liability claims adjuster for our Atlanta Georgia office who understands how to work efficiently and effectively with insured’s, attorneys, medical providers and other insurance companies to resolve auto PIP claims. We are looking for 2+ years of non-standard auto claims adjusting experience, ideally handling Florida PIP claims.
More specific requirements:
? Experience working with a non-standard auto insurer is preferred
? High School Diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree is desirable
? Possess a Claims Adjusters License, preferably in Florida and/or Georgia
? Computer skills – MS Office (Word, Excel)
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills
? Self-motivated, organized, team player that works well with others
? Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus!
Responsibilities:
? Work within a growing PIP Claims Team
? Investigates, evaluates, and negotiates auto accident PIP claims, in order to reach fair and equitable settlements for all parties.
? Documents files to include all of the key activities, contacts made, statements taken, and decisions made.
? Refers files for specialist handling by legal, SIU
? Handle all aspects of new or pending claims
? Participate in training sessions
