| Job Description | MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / RESULTS
•Play a key role in working within the business unit focusing on Insurance Agents & Brokers Professional Liability, Accountants, and Real Estate Agents and Appraisers E & O
•Maintain and continue to develop a book of business that helps in the department’s goals of growing a profitable book of business across all lines
•Work with deep broker relationships and source business focusing on Accountants and Real Estate Professional Liability and Insurance Agents E & O
•Take an active role in partnering with the MPL underwriters to further identify brokers which have the business that fits our underwriting appetite as well as identifying profitable market opportunities and product/industry trends
•Analyze individual risks and establish a book of business with profitable results to manage and control underwriting exposure and pricing strategy consistent with company objectives
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIORAL CHARACTERISTICS
•Analytical/underwriting skills
•Minimum of 8-10 years underwriting experience with an emphasis in Accountants Professional Liability
•Negotiation skills

•Excellent knowledge of the Professional Liability marketplace
