Claims Manager

Job Description
Manage a team of claim representatives and/or supporting technical ıstaff. Claims processed will include Worker’s Compensation and ıEmployer’s Liability. Oversee the investigation, reserving, managing ıand settlement of all claims assigned to the team. Provide advice and ıdirection to claim representatives. Responsible for the selection, ıtraining, development and performance of personnel as well as ıperformance reviews, salary adjustments and promotions. Handle ıspecial projects as assigned.ı

Preferred Experience and Skills ı

Prior supervision of claims personnel

Prior claims handling experience

Ability to lead, mentor and develop personnel

Interpersonal skills

Oral and written communicational skills

Preferred Education and Training ı

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance or related field

CPCU designation

Associate in Claims designation
