Claims Manager

Job Description
Manage a team of claim representatives and/or supporting technical ýstaff. Claims processed will include Worker’s Compensation and ýEmployer’s Liability. Oversee the investigation, reserving, managing ýand settlement of all claims assigned to the team. Provide advice and ýdirection to claim representatives. Responsible for the selection, ýtraining, development and performance of personnel as well as ýperformance reviews, salary adjustments and promotions. Handle ýspecial projects as assigned.ý

Prior supervision of claims personnel

Prior claims handling experience

Ability to lead, mentor and develop personnel

Interpersonal skills

Oral and written communicational skills


Preferred Education and Training ý

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance or related field

CPCU designation

Associate in Claims designation
