| Job Description | We are looking for a person to fill the role of Clinical Assay Associate Scientist (Temp-to-Perm/Permanent) in our Needham, MA facility. The individual will be responsible for receiving and testing clinical trial samples in support of on-going Celldex clinical trials, and will assist in method development/validation.
Position Responsbilities:
•Receive and analyze clinical trial samples in a Clinical Assays / GLP Testing Laboratory in support of Celldex’s Clinical Trials.
•Assist in the development and/or validation of novel immunoassays to determine PK and immunogenic response, among others.
•Conduct ELISAs for the testing of human serum collected from patients in the above-mentioned trials
•Follow departmental SOPs involving sample management, data entry, data review, maintenance of a GLP laboratory and associated equipment, as well as ordering supplies.
•Play an active role in data analysis and presentation of data and serve as a contributing and integral part of the Clinical Assays team.
Education/Experience: •Bachelor's BA/BS in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related discipline.
•Demonstration of appropriate hands-on laboratory experience.
•Experience, either from an academic or industrial setting, with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs).
•Demonstration of strong communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
•Experience working in, or studies related to GMPs or GLPs
