Position Summary
Energizer is seeking to hire an Attorney for the Commercial Counsel position. This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri
Accountabilities
•Possess excellent business judgment and the ability to work closely with a variety of global business groups, including: procurement/ sourcing, sales, marketing, supply chain and manufacturing/operations, to deliver timely legal advice and drive practical business solutions.
•Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
•A strategic thinker capable of working productively in a team environment as well as independently, be detail-oriented with strong organizational and management skills, be capable of driving the contractual process under various and sometimes conflicting pressures; and be versatile, resourceful and proactive.
•5-7 years transactional experience, preferably in a corporate setting, working with businesses on interpreting, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
•Proven ability to structure commercial transactions, and experienced in drafting and negotiating the following agreements:
Master Supply Agreements, Warehouse Service and Lease, Off-Shore Service, Customer, Distribution, Broker, Third Party Manufacturing, Promotional, Advertising Agency, Information Technology, Direct and Indirect Material Purchase, and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
•Familiarity with and ability to use document and file electronic management systems.
•International Contracts Experience, a plus.
•Create and maintain legal templates using best practices.
•Effective oral and written communication skills, ability to work with a diverse/global customer base.
•Ability to be responsive and effective in a fast paced environment to meet customer expectations.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize based on strategies and objectives.

A Juris Doctor from a top tier law school and admission to (and current good standing with) the bar of at least one state or the District of Columbia are required.
