We are growing! Wilson Mutual Insurance Company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lines Underwriting Specialist to join our Sheboygan, Wisconsin team.
In this position, you will evaluate complex commercial lines risks by properly identifying all exposures and determining acceptability of risks. With a heavy emphasis on Workers Compensation coverage, you will evaluate existing commercial lines products and provide analysis and recommendations. Identify and recommend loss control measures for existing accounts with the assistance of the risk management department. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to coworkers and act as an underwriting liaison between agencies and the company.
We prefer candidates who have a bachelor’s degree in risk management or business management. A minimum 6 years of experience and development as a commercial lines underwriter, or comparable experience within the property and casualty insurance industry. Continuing education such as CPCU is strongly desired.
