Continuous Improvement Manager

Job Description
Responsible for working closely with our senior leadership team to create and implement the strategy (road map) to transform our culture to one of empowered problem solvers and continuous improvement enthusiasts.
Owner of the Kreg Production System – educate, deploy, improve, sustain.
Educate – team member training and development roadmaps, programs and certifications (PLAN)
Deployment – annual planning, quarterly rock setting (DO)
Improvement – ensure alignment and traction (CHECK)
Sustain – Standard work. Recognize and celebrate! (ACT)
Organizational champion for the following crucial lean tools: Kaizen, MDI, PDCA/A-3 Problem Solving and Value Stream Mapping.
Champion for Business Process Improvement (improving and documenting Kreg Core Processes).
Support operations team on lean training & development and critical value stream initiatives.
Lead, develop and serve all members of the team.


Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience in area of specialty.
Minimum 10 years of business relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years of formal process improvement and problem solving experience.
Strong understanding and hands on experience with Lean Methodologies
Hold formal certification in problem solving - Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.
Good working knowledge of ERP systems and process integration.
Proven track record for coaching, mentoring and serving team members.
