SUMMARY:
This position will provide global financial leadership and have accountability for Manufacturing and Operations strategic plan commitments. The individual will be a business partner to the New Product Development Teams, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain. Responsibilities are focused on driving solutions that achieve company objectives to drive long term earnings growth. Serve as a representative on the global finance leadership team. This individual is responsible for developing, mentoring, and promoting staff members. This includes strengthening internal processes and core competencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Upgrade existing information and control process to maximize investment in SAP and driving common global control platform
Drive efficiencies through back office processes and control structures
Provide financial leadership within Capital investment for capacity utilization/expansion, profitability improvement and profit maintenance
Engage in finance consultation and process improvement
Inventory planning
Supply change movement
Operations efficiency
Lead activities in establishing long term company revenue stream through contract manufacturing
Drive initiative of reducing manufacturing and supply chain costs
Manage process to calculate Global Mfg Profit %’s
Independently lead month end close process
Lead process of calculating monthly FX on MPV
Financial leadership for Hollister’s Inventory Investment Initiative
Lead annual transfer price process
Calculate and analyze Consolidated Days Inventory on hand (DIOH)
Establish metrics for and automate detailed DIOH reporting
Lead improved LIFO, FIFO and Global Standards Change analysis
Provide support for Pre-SOPC and attend meetings
Support Global Operations Strategic Plan development and global capacity analysis
Lead innovation of Virtual Plant processes to integrate planning with Plants and Business Units
Lead the development of standardized presentations for Global Plan reviews
Lead budgeting, forecasting, standard costing and variance analysis process for Global
Operations through partnership with Manufacturing plants
Enhance capital reporting to evaluate AFE spending
Provide leadership and accountability for Global Ops D&T audit
Lead annual audit of inventory
Complete special projects to support Global Operations, as assigned
Plan and Manage Operating Expense support for Corporate Ops Staff, Global Supply
Chain and Customer Collaboration Technology team
Develop, execute and direct transactional processes to support decision making and analysis
Staff Management and Development
Recruit talent, establish long term individual goals, and participate in successful team development
QUALIFICATIONS:
Academic/Credentials/Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
CPA Preferred
MBA Preferred
Length of experience
8-10 years of broad based accounting experience within an international, multi-organizational company
2-3 years in a supervisory role
Specialized skills/technical knowledge
Proven ability to influence decision making processes.
Apply financial concepts and connect financial opportunities across global operations and business process
Ability to independently manage accountabilities and drive organizational change
Ability to influence and lead senior management teams
Ability to move financial and operational information to action
Ability to think cross functionally across global platform
Technical skill set, SAP systems experience a plus
