Job Description | Description: The Engineer will be a contributor to the technical teams in the delivery of complex projects in multiple industries. Utilize logic/problem-solving capabilities to apply advanced engineering principles and techniques to propose, direct, and integrate solutions to highly complex, loosely defined technical problems and to identify direct approaches for the successful resolution of significant technical issues. Develop electrical controls design by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying electric controls engineering concepts, approaches, techniques, and criteria including panel layouts, distributed control systems, Operator Interface Terminals (OITs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA); adapting and modifying electrical controls engineering options; developing and evaluating new electrical controls engineering architectures and algorithms; preparing layout drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams; collaborating with related engineering design teams; evaluating components, materials, and suppliers; identifying and resolving design integration/interface issues; determining and establishing design specifications.
Requirements:
•The ideal candidates should possess 5 years experience with systems integration, instrumentation, controls engineering, Programmable Logic Control and SCADA Network layout as well as control strategy development.
•Capable and proficient in HMI or PLC development languages (additional software a +)
•BS degree required in Engineering
•Knowledge in water/wastewater process a plus
•Comfortable with moderate travel |
