| Job Description | MSX International is currently seeking a Controls Engineer to provide daily support to plant operations, support corporate and plant goals. The Controls Engineer will support purchasing, implementation and installation of new and rebuilt equipment through PLTs. Strives for continuous improvement of equipment and processes towards improving reliability and technology, manages continuous improvement projects as required and help trouble shoot daily production problems as they occur. This position will maintain close communication with skilled trade work groups to assure precision implementation of projects. Provide technical expertise to other Controls Engineers and Skilled Trades. This includes robots, cncs, cameras, plcs, and all other devices with software or programmable settings. Maintain Autocad drawings both electronically and in panels as changes occur. Verify essential spare parts are stocked and create documents for non-standard procedures.
Skills Desired:
The ideal candidate will have experience with MS Office, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, Panelview and Drive Software of various brands, Barcode and Camera Software of various brands/etc). Some travel is required, usually for equipment review and meeting with vendors. |
