| Job Description | DUTIES would include but not limited to:
•Design control systems for continuous web handling machinery to the sold specifications.
•Coordination of scope requirements between the controls and mechanical groups.
•Participate in Project Teams for contract and project design review meetings.
•Travel up to 10% for customer visits, vendor meetings, and start-up’s as required.
•Convert machinery and technologies for extrusions coating, cast & blown film, aqueous coating methods, web handling, and winding techniques.
•Lead a team of engineers and designers in the design of large custom automated OEM projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•A BSSE or an Associate degree with a combination of coursework and experience.
•5 - 10 years of controls and electrical systems design experience with industrial automation or automated machinery.
•Control System design including electrical schematics, control panel layouts, BOMs, test plans, manuals, etc.
•Experience with high speed servo applications and variable frequency drives. Knowledge of AB Control Logix, and/or Siemens S7 PLCs a plus.
•HMI programming experience using applications including RSView ME/SE or Wonderware.
•Familiar with Visual Basic, C++, etc.
•Familiar with SCADA system requirements.
•Proficient in Auto Cad, Auto Cad electrical preferred.
•Knowledge of and designing systems to meet CE, UL, CSA, conformance
•Experience in installing, start-up and commissioning of automated machinery.
Experience:
5 - 10 years of controls and electrical systems design experience with industrial automation or automated machinery.
Skills:
Proficient in Auto Cad, Auto Cad electrical preferred. |
