AOC is currently seeking a Corrosion & Infrastructure Market Development Specialist to provide support to its premium corrosion resistant (CR) and fire resistant (FR) resin business by cultivating the end-user and A&E community, developing product applications and specifications, identifying and tracking projects, and communicating with AOC salesmen and managers to complete product sales. This role is responsible for creating and presenting product and market information to key project and AOC stakeholders; providing reports of information gathered such as new applications, market trends, project updates, competitive activity and perceived opportunities; supporting Communications department as needed. The candidate must be familiar with a wide range of end-use applications, fabrication techniques, product capabilities and industry resources.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in the Sciences, a chemical engineering degree would be advantageous, with 5 years of related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. Customer service, technical service or sales experience would be helpful. Experience in the polyester resin industry would be a major plus.



Skills should include effective communication and presentation skills in one-on-one and group situations; able to communicate company and industry information insightfully and effectively; capable people skills to deal with a broad range of personalities; self-confident and outgoing personality, and possess expert industry knowledge. The candidate will be proficient in Oracle, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
