Whirlpool is looking for a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to develop and analyze product standard costs and provide key decision making information vital to the profitability and growth of the company.
What You Will Do
?Work directly with plant manufacturing operations to plan, organize and implement the necessary accounting and manufacturing systems and processes required to deliver proper internal controls.
?Plan, forecast, analyze and track monthly and annual product cost variances.
?Lead and direct the annual standard cost setting process.
?Provide cost expertise to the new model planning and product development teams.
?Develop control systems and processes for cost accounting within a Lean manufacturing environment. Rigorously drive the delivery of the plant's on-going product cost savings objectives.
Qualifications
?3 - 5 years experience in a manufacturing cost position
?Outstanding logical and critical thinking skills
?Proven ability to analyze problems and provide effective solutions
?Personal computer efficiency in Windows and MS Office
?Strong motivational, listening and communication skills
?Ability to develop personal relationships and manage conflict toward problem prevention
?Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks
