| Job Description | Credit Suisse's Real Estate & Asset Finance (REAF) team within Credit Risk Management (CRM) is looking for an Asset Finance Credit Risk Analyst; the position will be located in CS’s Raleigh, NC office. CRM's REAF team is responsible for the credit assessment, approval, rating, reporting and risk management of secured credit facilities for commercial and residential mortgage loan originators and servicers, asset finance receivable originators and servicers, and corporate credits such as equity and mortgage REITs. The credit risk analyst will support the credit risk function for Asset Finance transactions. Responsibilities include:
Conducting and documenting credit analysis for initial, annual and interim reviews of Asset Finance counterparties, transactions and credit facilities
Preparing written reports to communicate the results of the analysis conducted
Monitoring and reporting on credit limits, exposures and portfolio characteristics
Participating in client due diligence meetings and calls
Participating in CRM in meetings with Front Office, Legal and Compliance, Treasury, etc.
Tracking loan covenants, deterioration of credits, excessive concentrations of risk and asset performance concerns
Assisting with market and other ad hoc analyses

Essential:
Relevant university degree (BA/BS minimum)
1 to 3 years related business experience
Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional writing skills and English language proficiency, as all CRM reports are prepared in English
Finance or accounting knowledge
Desirable:
Experience at a major investment or global commercial bank
AF/ABS market knowledge
Familiarity with regulatory issues and concerns relating to asset-backed lending
Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
Familiarity with Intex is a plus
