| Job Description | Bremen Castings, Inc. is a gray and ductile iron foundry, serving customer needs since 1939. We place a high priority on quality castings and customer service, as we seek to go above and beyond the status quo. In our continued effort towards the quality of our product and increasing the satisfaction of our customers, we are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented individual who possesses strong verbal and written communication skills. This individual will be required to analyze and effectively diagnose and resolve any and all quality issues that may arise by effectively applying the following skills required:
- Thorough working knowledge of foundry and machining production practices and principles
- Understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance methods (GD&T)
- Reading and interpreting of part drawings
- Working knowledge of ISO9001-2008 standard, including new revisions
- BS degree in quality or engineering related field or a minimum of five years experience in quality and ISO 9000
Basic job responsibilities will include:
- In charge of assigned group of customers and satisfying their needs/questions/problems in relation to quality
- Visits to customers for price adjustments, quality issues, new work etc…
- Continuous update of customer needs into our internal system
- Corrective actions
- FEMA, PPAP, APQP and RMA’s
- Customer training, audits and surveys
- Maintaining procedures and work instructions
- Assisting in manufacturing problem analysis and solutions
- Qualifying of products and validating of processes |
