Data Analyst Lead
Our sharp, statistical savvy Data Analysts put their programming and quantitative skills to use writing queries, gathering data into Excel or SAS, and manipulating data to identify trends for various business groups. Working with regression analysis and building conceptual models, you will tell the story behind the data and present your findings and recommendations to business leaders on how to best utilize our resources.
The Financial Reporting team includes budgeting and forecasting for the Information Technology enterprise. IT Financial Control is part of the larger IT Control division, which is responsible for the financial activities of IT, as well as IT resource/vendor sourcing, provider management, and enterprise process control. As part of this team, a person will focus on labor financial reporting and all labor based reporting, including operational reports and creating ad-hoc reports. This person is also responsible for maintaining monthly staffing forecasts while also acting as a Data Architect or Data Steward for Financial Reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics or Statistics
- Eight years business experience with five years prior analyst experience
- Thorough understanding of business processes and systems knowledge
- Proven ability to develop predictive data models using statistical and mathematical methods
- Highly proficient in MBI, Crystal, or other data analysis reporting tools
- Advanced skills in Excel with knowledge of spreadsheet functionality including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, graphing and macros
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, and database experience including the ability to create PowerPoint graphs, tables and information reports in slide format
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree with 4-6+ years of experience
- Expert SAS and SQL programming skills
