Carpenter Technology Corporation seeks Deformation Process Modeling Engineer for our Reading, PA R&D facility. Successful candidate will be closely involved in the development and optimization of thermo-mechanical processes such as Open Die-Forging, Rolling or Drawing of high temperature alloys or stainless steel using commercially available TMP codes such as DEFORM. Will interact with R&D Engineers and Manufacturing personnel. Will be closely involved with enhancing the models, analyzing process data, and characterizing experimental results.
Must have MS degree in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering plus two years working experience with computational modeling with emphasis on thermo-mechanical processing using DEFORM. Two years prior experience with processing of specialty alloys or stainless steel. |
