Design Engineer NCG:
This is a full-time position for a qualified individual to work in Intersil’s desktop and server power management applications engineering group. He/she will interact with other engineers in various functions: design, applications, product and test. Mentoring is provided by an experienced design engineer and initial scope of work typically revolves around providing assistance in power management integrated circuit design.
Specifically, we are looking for designers with analog IC design experience in high-efficiency power management. Candidates will design complex chips that may include multiple power handling blocks along with digital control circuitry. Candidates should have good understanding of device parasitic actions. Knowledge of end-applications is a plus. Recent designs in submicron process and understanding of layout tradeoffs are a must. Knowledge of Cadence tools is a plus. Analytical approach to problem solving is required. These are leading edge technology products and provide challenging learning opportunities.
Position Requirements:
•BS or (MSEE or Higher preferred) in Electrical Engineering Program with Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
•Understanding of Analog Circuit Design, Power Electronics and Control Theory Preferred
•Skilled in the Use of Simulation Tools and Office Environment Software
•Good Communication and Teamwork Skills
•Highly Motivated and Creative Individuals Preferred
