Role & Responsibilities:
Gain firm understanding of Theranos systems.
Interrogate system components to understand performance characteristics.
Optimize mechanical and/or electrical subsystems for performance.
Develop and use tools for analyzing data for optimization of hardware and test systems.
Perform statistical/physical modeling and simulation of systems.
Requirements:
A bachelor's, master's, or other advanced degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical) or Physics is required.
Some industrial experience is desirable. Must be conversant with the principles of mechanical and electrical systems.
Exposure to programming is an advantage.
Ability to quickly learn about new mechanical/physical systems.
Basic statistical and/or mathematical modeling skills.
Passionate about systematic optimization of hardware systems. |
