Director, Product Management

Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Product Management, the Director of Product Management will be primarily responsible for Millennial Mediaís Video and Rich Media based mobile advertising products. This individual will set the productís strategic direction, will perform competitive research, and will track and analyze results of the products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Product Manager will work closely with Technology, Marketing, Sales, Publisher Services, Operations, and the rest of the Product Management team to ensure the development of world class mobile video and Rich Media solutions
This individual must be able to act in a leadership capacity, be creative, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and operate in a fast paced environment
The Director of Product Management will be expected to be a thought leader, both internally and externally in the marketplace, for the use and value associated with Video and Rich Media in Mobile.
The Director of Product Management will take full ownership of the development and success of the Video and Rich Media product set at Millennial Media

Ability to quickly and effectively translate analysis and feedback into product development needs
Self-motivated and assertive individual with strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills
Ability to manage all aspects of the life-cycle of a product including development of technical products while understanding how to deploy marketing, sales, and public relations resources
Strong skills in data analysis, spreadsheet, forecasting, modeling, data mining, statistical analysis, client satisfaction/marketing research, and cost accounting
Ability to work in cross-functional teams
Ability to balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technical and business experts
Ability to communicate effectively with Executive Management
Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple customers Ė both internal and external
Strong judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills

Education / Experience:

Masterís degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or other analytical major (will consider Bachelorís with significant work experience)
Proven track record of results, demonstrated accountability for achieving individual and shared goals
Experience within mobile or online advertising preferred
Knowledge of mobile industry and solutions preferred
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
