As a Director of Quality/Extrusion Process Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the Quality Management System / ISO9001:2008.
Manage the Quality Control Laboratory and Personnel.
Ensure products are made following customers specifications.
Ensure all products leaving the facility meet all internal quality requirements.
Medical specification review and new product development.
Process review for production.
Manage all incoming R&D work.
Coordinate R&D trials on the production floor.
Responsible for process engineering and to provide technical support & guidance for production.
Focus and concentrate on problem solving methods to troubleshoot equipment & tooling to improve overall plant efficiencies.
Involvement in the organizing and coordination of continuous improvement projects related to the processes, materials, and equipment for the manufacturing facility.

Job Requirements
Need to possess strong communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of hourly and management, both internally & externally.
Must have management skills.
Must be self motivated and skilled in motivating others.
Need to have great troubleshooting skills and resolve problems quickly and make sound decisions.
Must adhere to all company policies and safety rules.
Must be able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Education Requirements
BS Plastics or Chemical Engineering (or similar degree).
A minimum of 3 to 5 years professional experience in manufacturing, process, formulation, R&D, laboratory equipment testing, & ISO9001 Quality Management System.
