We now seek a Director of Sales to join our commercial team, with responsibility for delivering results in the US and European markets.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Reporting to the VP of Global Sales and Marketing, the incumbent is expected to be sales driven and responsible for the following (but not limited to):
Delivering sales results in the US and EU markets.
Driving sales from Finished Products, Components, Component sub-assemblies, prototyping and design services.
Implementing and driving world class best in practice sales management and reporting tools.
Ability to engage and influence VP level and above
Responsible for managing account values up to $5m
Manage total sales target of $40-$50m
This role will initially have 6 direct reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
Primary degree with MBA advantageous
8-15 years of commercial sales experience
Proven track record of driving sales teams and exceeding revenue targets.
Experience in Medical devices industry on Outsourcing side or Clinical sales side.
Experience of managing team and selling in US and Europe essential.
Ability to work in a complex environment.
Selling minimally invasive medical technologies / products including coronary, endovascular catheter related products a distinct advantage.
Established network of customer contacts within large medical OEMs / distributers a distinct advantage
Strategic thinking with good communication skills
Ability to build rapport with customers
Experience of Implementing and driving world class best in practice sales management and reporting tools
