| Job Description | C & B Machinery, a Livonia, MI based company that designs, manufactures, and builds grinding machines, is seeking a controls engineer that is hard-working, eager to learn, and has good communication skills.
Job functions and areas that individual would be trained in:
•Control system design including fluid power, PLC/CNC programming, HMI development, motion programming.
•Utilize AutoCAD LT software for creating schematics & diagrams.
•Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for creating documentation and manuals.
•Follow applicable standards and automotive customer specifications.
•Start up and de-bug of machinery, troubleshooting.
•Travel to customer facilities for machine installations and service.
Helpful Qualifications:
•Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, PLC/CNC controls.
•Knowledge of machine wiring practices.
•Knowledge of fluid power and lubrication systems.
•Ability to work safe.
•Ability to maintain good housekeeping and organization.
•Ability to work well with a team.
